Rock Drilling

Mixing Systems
The proper drilling fluid mix is critical to achieving maximum productivity. Vermeer engineered a series of drill fluid mixing systems to quickly combine water with polymers, wetting agents, bentonites, and other additives.
Vermeer drilling fluid systems are comprehensive and include the following matched components: a mixing system, tank(s) and cradle, a power unit, roll guns, hoses and centrifugal pump and plumbing.

Locating Systems
Interference is one of the primary obstacles to completing HDD projects and can impair the accuracy of underground depth measurements. The ability of a locating system to perform well in interference has become a crucial factor in maintaining crew productivity and completing jobs on time.

Piercing Tools
Cost-effective and easy-to-use, piercing tools and moles have a variety of uses, from small cable installations under sidewalks to stitch boring applications for fiber and natural gas. They require minimal setup space and greatly reduce surface disruption as compared to open cut methods.

Ride On Trenchers and Rockwheels
Designed to deal with soil efficiently, right-sized and powered for today’s jobsites, Vermeer trenchers are available with a range of attachments from standard center mount to offset with conveyor, helping you to exceed jobsite expectations every time.
Our RTX models feature the quad-track system for work in a wider range of weather and ground conditions. When we introduced quad tracks, we affirmed our commitment to making once unthinkable productivity rates possible. Today, we continue our commitment to helping you make significant strides forward in your productivity.
Vermeer also offers a variety of plows that help power down through turf with minimal ground disturbance. From our exclusive multi-blade plow for use in underground dripper line installation, to our versatile walk-behind plows and vibratory plows that make quick work of fiber-optic, gas and water utility installations; let Vermeer help you find the right machine.
Cut through rock, concrete and other tough surfaces easily with a Vermeer rockwheel. Designed to take on challenging ground conditions, these rockwheels will give you clean, straight-sided trenches for a variety of concrete-cutting projects, including patch and joint placement on interstates, streets and highways.

Pedestrian Trenchers
The newest entrant in the Vermeer pedestrian trencher lineup offers a productive and convenient to maintain machine that gets the job done right. The RTX250 features a 25 hp (18.6 kW) electronic fuel-injected (EFI) engine, digging depth capacity of 48” (121.9 cm), maximum digging width of 8” (20.3 cm) and a slender profile which allows the unit to move through narrow yard gates.

Mini Skid Steers
Use the versatile Vermeer mini skid steer. Designed according to customer input, these skid steers fit into small spaces and are lightweight enough to use on most landscape surfaces. Intuitive joystick controls are easy to master, and several industry-leading safety features help protect the operator.
Available in track-driven models, these highly productive skid steers maneuver easily around tough worksites and reduce workloads in the process. In addition, Vermeer mini skid steers boast the breakout force and lift capacity more commonly associated with larger skid loaders.

Vacuum Excavators
The demand for non-destructive digging (‘NDD’) solutions has seen a surge in demand for vacuum excavation across a wide range of industries and applications. This growth has been driven by factors including the increased mandating of NDD and hydro excavation by primary contractors and municipalities, occupational health and safety regulation, the roll-out of fibre networks and availability of vacuum excavators in an increasing array of sizes and configurations.

Pit Launch Drills
- The MCL 10H fits into a tight footprint with both a 7 foot (214 CM) and compact 5 foot (153 CM) models.
The MCL 10H is an ideal drill for installing water and gas services for projects with set- back restrictions.
With the MCL 10H the bore is started at desired depth and the Drill can be set at grade to start the bore on target. - The MCL 10H has a great power to footprint ratio for installations up to 12” (30CM) in diameter. This Pit Launch Drill has 1,030 ft*lbs(1,392 Nm) of torque and 13,250 lbs(5,895 kg) of pullback force.
